Heck Yeah, Dinosaur Planet!

A blog dedicated to the cancelled Nintendo 64 game Dinosaur Planet,
which was instead released as Star Fox Adventures on the Gamecube.

Aside from images, fanart, and videos of the game, this blog will also post some articles, research, theories, and other interesting media on this scrapped gem. Occasionally, some media related to Star Fox Adventures and other cancelled Rareware games will be posted here.

The newly discovered screens aren’t new! They are from this press kit video. It was submitted in January so the screens we saw yesterday aren’t really new :(.

Gilgamesh of Unseen64 did! He’s also been responsible for ripping some DP audio clips from SFA and finding other interesting tidbits in SFA’s data! He’s a really baller bloke.

Most are known but there are some new screens too, even featuring a more finished build in which Sabre his his HUD icon now.

Krystal and Sabre from the deleted (let’s say unfinished) Dinosaur Planet!

Inspired by screenshots of the game. I want to finish those someday in that triangular style, sort of reminesent of the N64 shapes and style at the time.

b2tie asked: Alright, so this one website that used to follow information on DP a while back has a mention of DP's "Eight Majestic Planets", with only Animus and Sauria known. Have you heard of this before? Seems like something that was an early idea (six swapstones on six planets, anyone?), but was scrapped.. got anything on this?

Ah, I remember that! DKVine! Oh, the horrid days I used to go on that forum when I was younger. Good lord.

The only mention of the Majestic Eight is mentioned in the leaked plot and the SFA textrip (typoed as “The Majestic A”). Only Sauria (Dinosaur Planet) and Animus are the only known named planets of the system.
